Today is a good day, it seems
to come out of a shell.
To celebrate the End.
Such a fine beginning.

And from the day so recently passed,
The day of many Thankful Festivities,
A rumbling crescendo comes to a head.
A disaster of passion and a failure of mind
Makes further acts of ignorance irreparable.

And what foul Devil, Creature, or Monster
hath forced his wretched grip upon my heart
as it sets my ego aflame,
to send an act of kindness in return as a beast of
Obsession?
I dare not think.
For that Demon seeks shelter in my heart.
And though I despise him, I don’t think I shall refuse him.
He spits upon my dreams of love,
laughing upon my vision of soft meadow grass,
filled with an even softer Lover’s Caress.

I pity him.
He speaks of Armageddon.
But now Irony has become a loving mistress once again,
for it is he who falls ignorant.
It is he who is blind to the judgment before him.

It is the End.
A Rumbling Crescendo indeed…

This Demon, destined to Crisis,
For the powers that be deem him a conflict of continuity
as the Authorial Reign is mine once more!
Will he be Villain or Hero? the Judgment is not mine...
but as he takes center stage
his Fate is within my eye alone.

A story of love and war, the Demon’s shape may take.
And only at the End, shall Judgment be clear.
The pieces are guided by more than my fingertips
They dance to a rhythm all their own.

The End has begun.
And it is a damn fine beginning.
